Which one of us did not dream of becoming a teacher when we grow up? We all have had teachers who we idealized as kids and pretended to be them amongst friends. I for one have spent countless spring breaks being the “teacher” and teaching a class full of friends.
However, as time passed my childhood
dream got diverted and I ended up becoming an engineer. But not for long, today
I am back to teaching and loving it just as much. But not everyone interested
in this career choice needs to take such a long route towards their dream
career. The shortest route is now straight and easy. Early Childhood Education
Degree programs are designed to fast forward your career goals towards teaching
and academics. But don’t chose Early
Childhood Education Degrees just because you have an intellectual turn of
mind and feel like teaching is your calling, for this profession you need to
really be into kids and enjoy interacting with them on a regular basis
